The metal design is either basse taille (hand made) or guilloche (machine made) - it's difficult to tell. These can be used in a number of ways - wear one with a velvet ribbon as a collar necklace and wear the other as a lovely and unique hair ornament. Weight: 29.5 grams (15 and 14.5 grams)
Hallmarks: "STERLING" with a cross that appears to be a maker's mark
Condition: Very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos, with slight age related wear and patina, mostly on the back. The bar on the back of one buckle appears to have some "ripples." Very little wear to the enamel.
