You are looking at one of a line of Sterling Silver Gold Vermeil Crown Brooches produced in the 1940s by Trifari. Designed by Alfred Philippe, these brooches were produced in 3 different sizes (this is the largest of the 3) and in various colors. This particular brooch features a Rare Red, White, and Blue Patriotic Color Scheme. It looks just wonderful with many outfits. The brooch is in Very Good Vintage Condition, as shown in the photos. As is typical of Vermeil brooches of this age, there is some wear to the Vermeil finish (see closeup photos), more pronounced in the photos due to enlargement. The stones are all intact and appear to be original to the brooch. A few of the small clear rhinestones have a tiny bit of yellowing around the edges. The colored rhinestones and colored glass cabochons are in beautiful condition. This Stunning 1940s Trifari Brooch is sure to be noticed and admired by everyone!
