Marvelous Mid Century Beauty! Wonderful, rare CORO STERLING brooch from the mid to late 1940s. Similar in construction and design to pieces in the 1946 Menagerie series, possibly from the Canadian Menagerie collection. The brooch is a stylized winged insect (most likely a dragonfly or moth) with large filigree wings. Large, colorful glass stones, accented with smaller clear rhinestones. The Sterling Silver has a lovely rose Gold Vermeil finish. So striking and a fabulous addition to any vintage collection!
